'Forever Searching' is a global group whose whole purpose for existing is to raise awareness to individual child abductions throughout the world.

Thanks to the power of the internet and to the sheer determination and passion of the group members who have come together from many different parts of the world - “Forever Searching” are able to target several countries simultaneously with their ongoing awareness campaign.

Since news of Madeleine McCann’s abduction in Portugal in May 2007, group members have worked tirelessly, distributing thousands of posters displaying 4 year old Madeleine’s face throughout the world. This story set off a chain reaction as members of “Forever Searching” became aware of other missing and forgotten children, and they set about raising awareness for all of them. Co-Founder Kathy Atkinson says “Any poster we send out could be the one that helps a child find their way home, and knowing that makes it all worthwhile”.

“Forever Searching” aims to send a message to the people who commit these unspeakable crimes that none of us will allow these children to be forgotten, and we will not rest until those that prey upon them are brought to account. Our ultimate vision is that no family should have to endure the perpetual limbo of ongoing torment that is placed on them by not knowing what has happened to their beloved child.

Everyone can make a difference; you can help Forever Searching in raising awareness to missing children by giving some of your spare time to assist in one of many projects that the group is working on.

These children can’t be forgotten, ever...

We are looking for volunteers to help within our friendly, professional group. Can you spare some computer time? As a volunteer you will need to use the internet to research possible target audiences, as well as emailing posters of missing children worldwide.

You will be allocated a Team Leader who is there to assist you whenever needed. You will be required to email your weekly progress reports to your team leader and discuss where to focus next.

We just need you to be computer literate, reliable and have a passion for children's rights.
